Associate Professor with Habilitation at the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Aveiro. Degree in Civil Engineering (FEUP), Master in Urban Environmental Planning (FAUP). She received her PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Aveiro in 2006. Ana Velosa has coordinated and participated in several national and international research projects, having published a significant number of articles in national and international journals and congresses. He participates in technical committees of RILEM and took a sabbatical year at the Norwegian Institute for Cultural Heritage Research (NIKU). She was Vice-Director of the Department of Civil Engineering at UA, Director of the Integrated Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and Director of the Degree in Heritage Rehabilitation. She was Pro-Rector of the University of Aveiro with the responsibility for Sustainability, Vice-President of the Earth Center (CdT) and President of the Assembly of the CdT and member of the board of APRUPP. Currently she is Director of the Master in Building Rehabilitation at the University of Aveiro
Dr Hadi Sarvari is presently a sinior researcher at Birmingham City University. His area of research focuses on Construction Safety and Health as well as suatainability. He also serves as a researcher at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and as an Assistant Professor in Construction Management at the Islamic Azad University Isfahan (Iran). His teaching and research interests include Construction Contract Management, Management Information Systems, Construction Project Planning and Control, Engineering Systems Analysis, Maintenance Management, and Evaluation of Performance in the Construction of infrastructure projects. In 2018, he was awarded the Best Lecturer Award in the Educational field. He was also awarded as a distinguished researcher in 2021. He authored and co-authored several scientific articles and books in the following fields: Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, Safety and Risk management, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Maintenance Management. His work has appeared in the Journal of Habitat International, Building Engineering, International Journal of Construction Management, Journal of Facilities Management, Iranian Journal of Fuzzy Systems, Sustainability, Buildings, Applied Sciences, Energies, Administrative Sciences, and Journal of Civil Engineering and Management, among others. He is a reviewer and editorial board member in several international journals (e.g., Safety Science, International Journal of Construction Management, Frontiers in Built Environment, Journal of Financial Reporting and Accounting, and Malaysian Journal of Civil Engineering) and leading conferences (e.g., European Safety and Reliability Conference).
Henry is a Reader/Associate Professor in Construction Informatics and conducts research with the Oxford Institute for Sustainable Development in Oxford Brookes University. He is a Chartered Engineer, holds: HDR in Digital Construction Technology (Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, France), PhD in Construction IT (Oxford Brookes University, UK), MA in Monitoring & Evaluation (Africa Nazarene University, Kenya), Dipl-Ing. in Civil Engineering (Ecole Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique de Yaoundé, Cameroun), and BSc (Hons) in Mathematics/Physics (University of Buea, Cameroon). His teaching and research interests are in Semantic Web, BIM, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine & Deep Learning and Digital Twins applications in construction. He has worked on research projects funded by the UK Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council, Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, the International Labour Organisation and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Henry has co-authored over 70 peer-reviewed journal articles, 43 peer-reviewed conference articles, 7 international reports, 4 book chapters, co-authored one book and co-edited another, both in Construction IT field. He has supervised to completion and currently supervising a number of PhD students researching on BIM, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Twins applications in construction practice.
Hu Jianhui, born in Chengdu, Sichuan, Ph.D., JSPS FELLOW , Japan. He is aPermanent Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2021. During 2018-2020 worked in Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and as a Special Researcher at the University of Tokyo, Japan. And from 2017 to 2018 as a Foreign researcher at the Institute of Production Technology , University of Tokyo, Japan. 2015-2017 Postdoctoral fellow in Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He completed his studies from 2005 to 2015 as an Undergraduate student at Chongqing University and PhD candidate at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Dr. Mahdi Hosseini is currently working as a full time Professor (Associate) in the Department of Building Engineering ,College of Civil Engineering, Nanjing Forestry University, China. He was born in 1988. He did his Pre-University (12th) in Mathematical Science from Shahed Pre-univ Center(Iranian Distinguished School), Iran in 2006. Later he Received his Bachelor of Engineering with Distinction in Civil Engineering from Azad University, Iran in 2010 and Later he Received his Master of Technology (M.Tech.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degree in Structural Engineering with Grade “A” First Class with Distinction from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India in 2014 & 2019 Respectively. JNTU is the first–ever Technological University in India with NAAC “A” Grade Credit. Dr. Mahdi earned his Postdoctoral with Distinction from, College of Civil Engineering, Nanjing Forestry University, China.
Dr. Emin Taner Elmas is an Associate Professor at Igdır University in Turkey. He holds expertise in Astronomical Sciences, Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Engineering, Bioengineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Current Machines, Automotive Engineering, Internal Combustion Engines, and Automotive Combustion and Fuel Engineering.
STRUCTURAL/CIVIL ENGINEER with sixteen years of experience and having expertise in structural design (R.C.C., Steel, Composite, Timber, Masonry, Fiber-composite structures), geotechnical engineering, and consultant of different rehabilitation and construction projects for government, non-government, multi-national and overseas assignments.
Dr. Xing Zheng Wu is currently working as an associate professor in the civil engineering department of Hebei University in Baoding, China. His research interests focus on stability analysis of geostructures, numerical modelling of soil structure interaction, coastal cliff-beach erosion and hydraulic structures, flood risk mitigation measures, uncertainty quantification and reliability analysis in geotechnical and coastal engineering. Dr. Wu has published more than 20 journal papers by the first author in international journals, who is the Editor-in-Chief of the Insight - Civil Engineering. He has served as an active reviewer for more than 30 international journals and he is a member of the editorial board of more than 10 journals
Gordon Huang is a Professor at the University of Regina in Canada. His research interests include planning of energy and environmental systems, synchrotron-based environmental chemistry and biochemistry, climate modeling and downscaling, simulation of hydrological and environmental systems. He is Honoured with Honorary Doctor of Science, McMaster University; Fellow, Canadian Academy of Engineering; Fellow, Canadian Society for Civil Engineering; Fellow, Engineering Institute of Canada; Canada Research Chair Tier 1; Chief Scientist, Program of Rural Water Resources Management and Drinking Water Safety, United Nations Development Programme; University of Regina Alumni Association Faculty Award for Excellence in Research, Canada. He worked as an editorial board member, editor in chief, advisory board member, editor for various journals. His Research Grants are Over 200 research grants and contracts and 8 NSERC Strategic Grants, plus over 20 other NSERC grants. He published Over 1200 peer-refereed international journal papers and SCI Citation = over 41,000; SCI-based H-index = 84. He Supervised over 100 graduate students.
Since 2008, I am a Full Professor at Centrale Lille in Civil Engineering. Head of the unique Educational pathway ACE (Planning, Construction and Environment) since 2004, I am strongly involved in the sustainable development of EC-Lille (Local Agenda 21). I have been appointed as well as Dean of International Relations and member of the Board of Directors of the School from 2008 to 2015. Since january 2017, I am the Chairholder in " Construction 4.0", a research and industrial chair dealing with the challenges of the Construction industry.
